In-Home Consultation

An In-Home consultation package is the only way to Guarantee that your needs are properly addressed and to truly ensure that what you are being sold is appropriate for your needs and your home.

Shouldn't a consultation be free?

That depends on what you expect from a consultation. If I just came out and asked you what you wanted and told you "I think this will cost you "$ xxx", then perhaps free would be reasonable. However, this would only be an rough estimate, and I can do that over the phone.

Many people provide free estimates, but you need real numbers. I provide you with Knowledge, Information and Experience, all of which will enable you to make an informed decision.

What is included in the consultation fee:

An initial in-home consultation (up to 1 hour) - Evening and weekend hours available

I talk with you in detail to understand your desires and requirements

I evaluate your home's accessibility options

bullet

I Inventory existing equipment to determine compatibility

bullet

I will provide candid opinions on existing proposals (if available)

bullet

I provide recommendations to improve current setup

bullet

I provide a written, no-pressure detailed pricing proposal (good for 30 days) that you use to compare other options.

I provide E-mail consultations during process 

bullet

Planning on doing the work yourself? I can provide guidance as well.

In addition, the Fee will be credited back to you if you purchase equipment from me.

Once you confirm receipt of the quote, the ball is in your court. I'm not going to call you or hound you to make a decision. Take your time, I'm not going anywhere.

An in-home consultation is required before any work that may require running cables or cutting holes in walls. This helps us properly assess your installation options. I can assure you that the last thing you want is to set up an install appointment, buy equipment, get me out to your house and then find out that there is a beam in the attic that won't allow me to access the wall I need to get to.
